Lorne is an experienced Mathematics and Physics tutor. He has tutored many students in Vancouver and has seen consistent grade improvement in the majority of students he has worked with. He believes that every student is capable of academic greatness and this is reflected in his patient teaching style. 
 
During his time at UBC, he was also a teaching assistant for four different 1st and 2nd year physics courses. Lorne was also heavily involved in research and worked on several projects on the cutting edge of astrophysics. He graduated with distinction after acheiving a 3.9 GPA over the 5 years of his studies.

Jenilee is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at University of British Columbia. Previously Jenilee attended Henry M. Gunn High School in Palo Alto for her high school education (AP Scholar with Distinction). Jenilee was a Residence Advisor at the University of British Columbia and was responsible for caring for 30+ students throughout the year. She has previously tutored K-12 Maths for 1 year.

Nicole has been working with students from all levels and educational backgrounds for over 10 years. More specifically, she has been working with upper-level students for the past 7 years. She strongly believes in a comprehensive and integrated holistic approach to teaching and learning. Nicole and the student work together as a team to overcome any challenges that the student may face in their short to long-term academic career. Since lower grades, she has helped students build their academic profile and guided them to acquire recognizable academic standings and ultimately achieve successful admission to desired universities. Jay is an experienced Economics/Finance/Accounting and Mathematics tutor. He has tutored many students in Vancouver and Toronto, and students have been consistently improving grades over the few months after working with Jay. With his strong expertise in IB/AP program, he can also help students who are passionate in getting into business school.
 
He gradauted with the distinction from Economics program at University of Toronto.

Alex (Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry)

BSc Honors Specialization in Chemistry, University of Western Ontario, Dean’s Honor List

 

Alex spent his time at Western working on organic chemistry research investigating Parkinson’s Disease, helping lead the Chemistry club and graduating on the Dean’s Honor List. Additionally, he spent a summer abroad working at Soochow University in China researching cancer immunotherapy and has continued his research in Vancouver working alongside doctors, assisting with Gastrointestinal and Ophthalmology work.

 

Alex has significant experience in a variety of AP courses, with a special interest in Biology, Chemistry, and Math. Alex has a history of tutoring students and helping them achieve their academic goals. He wants to help his students learn to enjoy their studies and gain confidence in their academic abilities.
